The morning mocha
The cheapest De'Longhi on the internet.
Bobby knew he'd miss the morning mocha that had become part of his workday. So he bought a wee machine and taught himself through YouTube.
“I'd have been late for work before I'd have missed my morning mocha.”
The shed
Free coffee and a reason to get off the couch.
After charity pop-ups powered by a generator, Bobby opened his shed and invited folk down for coffee and a chat.
It wasn't a business plan. It was a way to stop sitting alone while he waited for therapy to begin. Six months of conversations later, the shed had become something real.

Barras to Dockyard
A hundred tags changed the next chapter.
The Barras pop-up was a success, then it closed. Bobby was at a loose end until Dockyard Social asked for someone who could make banging coffee.
About a hundred people tagged him. Now he's there every Saturday and Sunday.
See Bobby's Place
The honest bit
Most days, he's winning.
Bobby completed 18 therapy sessions over eight months. He still battles his demons, but challenging years of negative thought patterns changed the way he saw his future.
Bobby's Beans is part of his effort to clear more than £20,000 of debt built up while he was struggling to keep his head above water.
“There was a time when I thought making it to 40 would be enough. That was before therapy.”
Now we're here
The shed. The Barras. Dockyard. And now, the beans.
Every part of the journey happened because people showed up, had a coffee, shared a video, offered advice, or simply told Bobby to keep going.
These are proper speciality coffees, roasted with care and hand-picked by Bobby for the troops.
Love always,
Bobby x
